My girlfriends and I started a new tradition!!! Martini Mondays!!! Yes it is exactly the way it sounds we get together and every week someone is responsible for the Martinis.... I usually get comments when I tell people what I do on a Monday evening - how it is crazy to drink on Monday's and why not on another night!!! Well there is a very easy answer to that..... Monday everyone is available and what a great way to start off the week, since most of us hate Mondays!!!!!! It's a great way to spend time with the girls gossiping and just hanging out! I will post a picture on the next Martini Monday and I will also let you all know what Martini I was enjoying and give out the recipe.
So I can say today I officially started my "diet" so I can fit into my wedding dress and look stunning for the big day!!! I know it's still far away but I need to start sometime and I am doing this properly no fad diets just watching what I eat and exercise, yes EXERCISE a word that I hate but I have to do it! I brought my gym clothes and I will hit the gym right after work!!! No exceptions.......... It's funny my best friend BBM me today asking if I made it to the gym yesterday! Boy does she know me well!! LOL!!!
I even made a little schedule that hangs on my desk of when I should eat and what I should eat....
8:30am Breakfast - Oatmeal - Just tried it for the 1st time and I love it!
10:30am Snack - cottage cheese and strawberries - YUMMY
12:30pm Lunch
3:00pm Snack - Almonds
5ish - Fruit on my way to the gym - ususally starving at that time
7-7:30 Dinner - I wish it was earlier but there is no way possbile!!!
I really think I can stick to this routine and with exercise I should be able to accomplish my goal.....

4 Years.........
Wow how time flies.... Joel and I have now been together for 4 years as of today!! September 21 the day that changed my life... and the day that I met my best friend!!! I went from a horrible relationship of hate and verbal abuse to Flowers and Candy and all these things that I never expected to be possible, to being with a person that all he wants is for me to be happy at all times and give me all he possibly can. I love you Joel and I am Super Happy at being able to spend the rest of my days with you!!!! MUAH!!!...
Saturday night went to Brant House for my best friends Birthday!!!! A bunch of us went, I like that club the crowd is older and nice looking the on thing I didn't love was the DJ he played crap music.... But overall I had a few drinks got to do some dancing and had a really good time!! Will post pictures once I have them..
I'm not feeling well today... so my brain is not really functioning right!! I just wanted to say Congrats to Christa & Kristen in welcoming the new baby Jessie into their family.... CONGRATS and all the best!!!!!

My Motivation!!!
Last night my best friend and Made of Honour and I decided that it was time to go wedding dress shopping I since I did get engaged on July 25 2008, in New York City it was the best engagement in the world and I was so proud of Joel for putting so much effort into it and making it so speacial for me..... Horse and Carriage through Central Park in NYC come on who can ask for better than that!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)
Wedding dress shopping so exciting and over wheelming all at the same time! Silks, Organzas, Lace, Sweetheart, Strapless, V-Neck, Princess Like, Mernaide WOW so much to decide!!! The boutique was small and cozy, filled out the standard form with name, phone number, BUDGET..... I guess that is necessary as this partucular place had two seperate rooms one with dresses under $3000 and the other with dresses $3500 and up.... I didn't even want to walk around in that room, just to be on the safe side and not fall in love with any extravangt dress that I won't be able to afford. I was a little dissapointed, I expected to have much more of a selection than what I actually did.... think I tried on about 5 dress and there were only 2 that were nice. But I still don't think I found the one, you know the one that everyone always says as soon as you put it on you will know thats the one you love and you never forget... well I pretty much forgot what the other 3 or 4 that I tried on looked like!!!!
That brings me to my next point... Do wedding dress stores do it on porpuse to put all small dress sizes so that girls like me... a little meat on my bones feels like shit cause there is no way the ZIPPER will be done all the way up!! And the sales lady was pulling that dress up against me so tight that I swear she could of easily broken a rib!!! LOL but it was still fun..... This morning I woke up feeling like crap casual Friday trying to find a pair of jeans that fit me... and guess what? none of them did this morning.... which made me feel like utter crap!!! I have decided that it's time I do something about this since there is 1 year and 2 monthes left for my wedding and I would really like to lose some weight!! I have told myself that Monday I will hit the GYM again...... I need to challange myself and do something for once other than complain.... And i'm going to do some research of heatly meals to help me get fit and loose the weight!!! Here is the problem!!!!! I hate going to the GYM and I have no motovation!!! But this time it has to be different! I have a goal... the dress I tried on I took a peak at the tag and it said SIZE 12 and MY GOD I couldn't even do up the Zipper! I was mortified!!! Here is my challenge to myself to loose the weight eat healthy and go back to the gym..... there doesn't seem to hard.... I even want to write down my measurments and take a before and after picture!!!! I CAN DO IT!!!

I received and e-mail yesterday from a co-worker tittled " the day of the month you were born on" now I'm not much for forwards or spam e-mail I ususally don't even bother reading it..... But this on got to me, guess my curiousity got the best of me.... I just really wanted to see if any of the BS written on here was correct and OMG was I stunned!!!!!

Ok first off I do have a diploma in The Travel & Tourism field. And I did work in travel of a little while, and I enjoyed for a bit then got tired of it.... Working with animals never did that but I do have a pet cat his name is Charlie, and I am not big on dogs they kind of scare me!!!
So I leave with this thought.... Is this just a random coinsidence, how does someone come up with this crap on these e-mails that always seem to be true?????????????? Honestly I have no idea!!!!!

Carla & Senio Wedding June 06/09
Well since I only started blogging today... I figured I would post some pictures of a beautiful couple which I was honered to take part of on their special day.... Carla well what can I say about her other than the fact that she is awesome and a really sweet person, with great taste!!! And Senio what a character he is when you are around him there is never a dull moment, and you can see how much they love each other. New Adventure
Last night went out with a girlfriend and we decided to do something neither of us had done before.... go to Yorkville to see if we get a glimpse of any celebrities that might be in town.... well needless to say I didn't see 1 bloody person!!! It was still exciting just to think that maybe I would run into the George Clooney (what a handsome old guy) or maybe Edward Norton (wow what an amazing actor) but no such luck..... there were quite a few people out a group of young girls all waiting by the hotels exits just so they can see someone anyone really.... Restaurants were packed all lined up by Porches BMW Mercedes Maseratis WOW all the rich was out last night... to bad that's not my kind of life! But hey I can't really complain I guess cause I am happy!!!
